Galanti Guitar Models

Hi, I bought a Galanti guitar in 1967 and have used it ever since. Its still in great condition (black,sunburst with white plastic cover.) The serial # is 4614. There is some belt buckle wear on the back of guitar but otherwise still looks like it did when I bought it. I've been very protective of it all these years. 100 Greatest Dance Hits Of The 90s Rar.

Galanti Guitar Serial Number

This guitar has the 0-2-1-m black button controls at top of white panel and volume and tone controls at bottom right. Also treble bar. I have only seen this guitar used by a professional player once on tv many years ago and have never seen another one besides mine. I was wandering about the value of my guitar.

I don't want to sell it but I am curious. When I bought it in 1967 I think it sold for $267.00 which was a good deal of money at the time.

I actually bought it from a jewelry shop in Larenceville, Virginia. I'd appreciate any info you could give me on this guitar. Thanks, Francis Wood.

Hi all, Just reading this thread as I am v interested in buying a Galanti guitar. My top fave pick would be a Galanti-made Goya Panther (in Off-White especially), but a GRand Prix or Jet Star would also fit the bill. Heck, any Galanti/CastelFidardo guitar I am willing to take a poke. If anyone out there is interested, send me a line with a description and maybe some pics at nick@b-side.com.au.
