I suppose I'll mention something related, I've done research on though not directly Rocket League related, the DS4 controller actually has approximately 40ms on Windows and much less (8-9ms) on other OS. The latency consists of: 8-9ms standard latency on PS4/Windows/Linux 2 frames (Tested @ 60FPS), 33ms of additional input latency on Windows which occurs for an unknown reason when using the default driver stack. I have not found any information on latency tests upon alternative drivers so I cannot tell if using an alternative driver kills the bloat of latency.
